Recreation Program Assistant (Sports Site)
Part-time as Needed
Starting Hourly Salary: $15.39

​
Position Description:
Under general supervision, this position is to perform routine, manual set-ups of field/facilities and oversee program facilities and sports activities. Employees in this classification perform recurring tasks in accordance with established practices of Parks and Recreation Sports activities, as well as oversee and monitor activities of practices and games at the program facilities. This would entail setting up and taking down program equipment, providing customer service by helping to meet the needs of all participants as well as parents and coaches; handling issues and concerns with parents and/or coaches when applicable; answering questions and referring other issues to the supervisor as needed. Ensuring that the policies and rules of the youth leagues, park facilities and department are being upheld.

Minimum requirements for successful applicant will include: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must work weekday evenings and Saturdays. Background and driving record checks required.
