Position Overview:
The Behavioral Health Technician supports the residential milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.

Schedule : Holiday's as assigned.
Full-Time Mid Shift - 3PM-11PM (4 or 5 shifts per week).
PRN (As Needed) Mid Shift - 3PM-11PM (3 shifts per month minimum).

• Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support to residents at mealtimes and snacks.
• Supports residents during structured outings and recreation.
• Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment.
• Monitors and documents exercise.
• Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mental health experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive.
• Previous direct mental health experience preferred.
