Job Description The Regional Director (External Wholesaler) is responsible for executing sales, service, and marketing activities within the IBD channel in their region. Responsibilities include managing major markets, developing territory business plans, and serving as a key contact for financial advisors to provide insights and solutions. Success is measured by fund flows, sales activity, relationship expansion, and team contributions. Compensation includes salary and performance-based bonuses. Locations New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Washington, DC. Responsibilities Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with national goals. Maintain and grow IBD relationships and actively seek new ones. Generate leads and pursue new business opportunities. Manage territory performance, track trends, and strategize accordingly. Convey technical knowledge of investment strategies and products. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, ensuring open communication. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, or related field. At least 7 years of wholesaling experience with established IBD relationships. Proven success in selling alternative investment products. Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Self-motivated, professional, and results-driven. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders. Series 7 and 63 licenses; additional credentials (CIMA, CAIA, CFA) preferred. Travel Significant travel required. Compensation Salary range: $200,000 - $225,000 plus performance bonuses. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, education, and industry credentials.
